Park4Night Redesign
As a regular user of Park4Night, I rely on the app to find and plan overnight stops when travelling. Over time, I began to notice areas where the experience could be clearer, more efficient, and easier to navigate, particularly when quickly searching and comparing locations.
This project started as a way to explore those opportunities and rethink parts of the experience from a user perspective. Rather than redesigning the app completely, I focused on improving key journeys while keeping what already works.
I began by mapping the existing flows and identifying friction points, particularly around discovery, filtering, and decision making. From there, I explored ways to simplify interactions, improve hierarchy, and make important information easier to scan and act on.
The goal was to create a more focused and intuitive experience without disrupting familiar behaviour. Changes were designed to feel incremental and realistic, building on the existing product rather than replacing it.
Alongside this, the project was also an opportunity to work more deeply in Figma, building structured components and reusable patterns to support consistency across the interface.
The result is a redesign concept that prioritises clarity, speed, and usability, grounded in real usage and shaped by a practical understanding of how the app is used in context.
