As an award-winning UI designer and creative lead with a background in branding, publishing, and digital media, my focus is on creating digital products that connect with people emotionally as well as functionally. My work sits at the intersection of product, identity, and audience context, shaping interfaces and end to end journeys that are clear, purposeful, and human. A strong interest in design systems and scalable UI frameworks underpins my approach, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and speed across complex platforms, alongside a focus on conversion, retention, and long-term engagement. Experience spans automotive with Nissan, public sector with the BBC, pharma with GSK, and maritime with Carnival PLC, always grounded in a deep understanding of user behaviour and the role design plays in building trust and loyalty.
Alongside this, I’m the Creative Director and Co-Founder of beataboutmusic (BAM), a grassroots music platform reshaping how independent music looks, feels, and connects. I lead the brand identity, creative strategy, and product experience, designing the full fan and artist journey from discovery through to attendance and ongoing support. Embedded in the independent music scene, my work is informed by firsthand insight into fan and artist behaviour and a belief in the power of cultural storytelling. Through beataboutmusic, I focus on building coherent, scalable systems that turn attention into action and community into sustainable support for independent artists.
